Augmented and Virtual Reality

What are virtual reality and augmented reality?

Virtual reality (VR) is a simulated experience that can be similar to or completely different from the real world.

Augmented reality (AR) is an interactive experience of a real-world environment where the objects that reside in the real world are enhanced by computer-generated perceptual information, sometimes across multiple sensory modalities, including visual, auditory, haptic, somatosensory and olfactory.

It could also be used to assessment and sharing with parents during conferences. The issue is that technology can fail, so if this is your only plan for assessment or for the activity you may run into problems that are not easily solved.

I definitely think that this would be way more involved with high school students vs primary students, but that could be my own beliefs about student capabilities.
